I am not a cog in the machine. 

I was born to feel and dream. 

I was born to create. 

I was born to touch and be touched. 

I was born to hurt and cry and hate and laugh and love. 


I am not a part to play. 

I am not a role to fill. 

I am not a product or your bottom line. 

I am not subject to your will. 

My worth is not equal to my productivity. 

My life has inherent value. 

Those like me existed long before and will exist long after you. I am not, have not, and will never be 

Your human profit, your instrument, your “employee”. 


I am Born. 

I Live. 

I Die. 

I am born again. 

I am not your subject or commodity 

I am not perfect, but I’m me. 

I am no cog in your machine.
